Background:	Idiot Savant was formed in January of 2002. Derived from members of now defunct local rock band Null and Void. Idiot Savant has played around the SW Florida area since the inception of the project. Members of Idiot Savant have been playing the state and our area for over a decade in various projects. Idiot Savant is currently recording their first independent Cd with Wild fire productions. Idiot Savant is an ALL Original Avant Garde Rock band. Consisting of thick guitar, tight rythms and conceptual lyrics. Not the typical barband. Lyrically contraversial and visually energizing. Idiot Savant is a New sound emerging from the small town of Fort Myers Florida. A regular on surrounding radio and a favorite among the locals. A must see must hear and definitely some of the best South Florida has to offer.
